Today’s workout involves getting your heart rate up for a huge blast and then being done and over it. There are tons of studies proving that marathon style running is bad on the body overall and that quick, intense bursts of exercise are what our body needs to expand our fitness.
So we are doing just that. This is a quick and dirty Cardio workout. 5 exercises, 45 seconds to 1 minute long, repeated 2x through (3 if you’ve got it in you). If you don’t have an interval timer, doing 12-16 repetitions. We are taking 12 minutes out of our day to get our hearts pumping and up our bodies ability to process oxygen at a faster rate.
CARDIO – 45 seconds to 1 minute per exercise or 12-16 repetitions – 2-3 times through
1) Duck under with high knees
2) Mat sprints
5) Criss Cross x 4- Jabs x 4
